I'll start out with i was looking to buy a bigger saw and a friend recommended blue saws. I was skeptical at first as always buying "name brand " but I looked into it. I was on there website and noticed all the big saws wher sold out as a package. So I ended up calling the number on the website for customer service and someone actually answered. Like a real person answered you don't usually end up talking with a real person now a days. It was nice. His name was Scott and he actually works on these saws. Awesome now I'm talking with the man who actually has experience with Handling these saws. I ended up asking about if they wher getting in any shipments soon on either the 395xp "husqvarna clone" or the g660 "stihl clone" any time soon. And instead of looking on a computer or putting me on hold he said hang on I'll go out to the shop and check it out for you. Awesome. Sure enough he had the g660 on the shelf and put a package together for me he then made it available on there website to make it easier for me to buy. I then got the preflight inspection done "highly recommend " they basically find all the mistakes that wher made from the manufacturer and correct them on the spot. Scott also has a youtube channel " bulletproof saws " where he test out these clone saws and tunes them. You can tell right away Scott is one of those guys that can tell if there is something that needs adjustment upon start up by just the sound . Which means he's the guy you want pre testing an knock off saw for you and he has a ship load of experience in dealing building and running saws from all makes. Bluesaws sets the customer service bar high in making sure the customer is getting exactly what they need. I bought the saw package with preflight and 25" bar and 3 chains. All came quickly put together and time for a test. Fresh non ethanol fuel with "echo redshield" oil mixed a bit rich for the first 2 tanks maybe closer to 30-35:1 after that I have been doing 40ish:1. Saw fired right up on 2ed pull. Let it warm up while I put on chaps and ear plugs and was time to work. Gave the saw a few good revs and a longer 1/4 throttle with the bar and chain a few inches away from the log to see if it was oiling properly and sure enough it was. Time to let he eat some wood. Tested it on a 24" oak. Reved her up and starting cutting. Just like a hot knife through butter. I could tell right away Scott nailed the tuning. Saw was spot on and I could tell it was a power house. It made very easy work of bucking that tree up. My other saw is a old trusty husqvarna 357xp which is no slouch but couldn't hold a candle to this saw. The both have there places but this g660 is maybe 2 pounds heavier than the 357 really not that bad considering the almost twice the hp. The 357xp being about 4.4hp and the g660 being about 8hp. Any who. I would definitely recommend ONLY Bluesaws with the preflight inspection for any aftermarket saws. And if the saw your interested in showes out of stock you could always call you never know they could have that saw in stock and they could put a package together for you. Bluesaws have gained a customer and will be recommending there line of saws and other products to firends and family. Best of luck. Stay safe!. Tyler
A few things I’ve fallen off while I’m cutting but nothing I didn’t expect
