BLUESAWS - Hey guys, True Grit Scott here. In building a LOT of MS440 clones one of the big hangups has been the Carb... The kit carb is often, how do I say this, TRASH. I have wasted a bunch of time and money trying as many AM carbs as I could, and have only found ONE that has been wholly reliable, that is this HLIC branded one. In custom builds I have been stuck paying double or triple for OEM Walbro hd-14's. And lately they have been very hard to find and can cost 3x the price(which is insane) I have used both the Walbro hd-14 and this HLIC and cannot find any difference in performance or reliability, It took a VERY long time to find a supplier.
