BLUESAWS - In building a LOT of MS440 clones one of the big hangups has been the Carb... The kit carb is often, how do I say this, TRASH. We've have wasted a bunch of time and money trying as many AM carbs as we could, and have only found ONE that has been wholly reliable, that is this HLIC branded one. In custom builds I have been stuck paying double or triple for OEM Walbro hd-14's. And lately they have been very hard to find and can cost 3x the price(which is insane) I have used both the Walbro hd-14 and this HLIC and cannot find any difference in performance or reliability, It took a VERY long time to find a supplier.
