We have found that a visual inspection alone frequently misses critical problems. In 2023 we implemented the “Free-Flight” process whereas every machine purchased through our website is fueled, oiled, and test run prior to shipping. This addition has reduced our warranty rate to less than 1%, which is a win for us as a company, and you as a consumer.

We highly recommend each machine undergo Pre-Flight service when purchased new. This service involves partial disassembly and proper reassembly, using proper torque specifications and thread-locker, greasing critical bearing components as well as “rough” tuning to start the break in process. This covers the majorly of suggested maintenance for the first season of use. Historically we have encouraged customers to complete this process on their own , however recent changes to import regulations and taxation structure have, at times, significantly slowed our ability to acquire replacement parts. We currently recommend selecting the Pre-Flight service at checkout which has us complete the service prior to shipment. Although we have a remarkably low warranty rate, our hope by implementing this change is to come as close to possible to eliminating warranty issues faced by our customers. Runs beautifully. Scott was a pleasure to work with and responded promptly to my questions.
Scott at Bluesaws built me an incredible G660 pro by customizing it just for the way I wanted it. He did an orange plastic swap to get rid of most of the carbon fiber look. And he did the pre flight inspection before sending it out.
Within 15 minutes of arriving, I had it out of the box and assembled with the 36 inch bar and chain. Within a half hour, I had it buried in some 40 inch logs to see what kind of power it had, and hats off to holzformma and BlueSaws, it’s a ripper. I’ve just picked up a Logosol sawmill and it’s going right on it.
My big saw was an Stihl 066 but snapped the crack last year so this is the replacement. It took about 2 weeks for me to get me saw...all of the delay on the USPS. Packaged well but really had to rely on vids to finish assembly...paper instructions would be nice. Finally got around to starting it today and fired on 4th pull. Vibration is noticeably more than the 066 but no complaints. Overall pleased with the purchase.
Saw runs great so far; only complaint as far as the saw goes is the oiler will not keep up with a 28 inch bar. I didn't pay for the pre flight but got a note that it was performed. If I buy another saw I will be looking here first!
These guys were excellent to work with. Everything arrived in a timely manner & without issue. The g660 pro is built well, started fairly easily and has cut down roughly 30-40 large Ash trees and several others...cut to firewood length. Prolly had 40+ tanks of fuel run thru it, maybe closer to 30??? and the only problems I've had are losing the dawg bolts and the dogs, losing clutch cover nuts, and replacing chain tensioner. All minor fixes that could have been prevented with locktite (except for tensioner...known problem but Bluesaws now sells the kit with a bushing to lessen the slop from poor fit). I was very skeptical when I purchased this saw...having always used Stihl or Husky saws previously...but I'm now looking to buy a mid-weight saw and a top handle saw, as well as a backpack blower...and as soon as they're back in stock I'm pulling the trigger.
